Sophie has worked for Mid Essex ITT since 2014 when she was appointed as the Marketing, Recruitment and Adminstration Officer, a newly-created role to help boost the number of trainee teachers in local schools. After graduating in Psychology from University College London, Sophie went on to work in a number of student support roles. She was the Co-ordinator of London Nightline, a telephone helpline for students, for two years, and went on to chair the National Nightline Association.

Keith Ferguson has been teaching at Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form since 1997. He has held a number of different roles over this time. In 2001 he became Head of Year and maintained this role until 2008. He then became an Advanced Skills Teacher in ICT and worked across Essex providing support for a variety of different schools.

Steve is an experienced senior leader and has worked in a number of Essex schools for the past 17 years. He has a keen interest in teacher training and supporting new teachers within the profession.

Holly Sutton has been teaching at Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form since 2007. During this time, Holly has fulfilled a range of roles and responsibilities.

Ciara joined MEITT in September 2019 as a course administrator, and provides invaluable support to the academic team and to trainees.

Julie Rickards joined MEITT as a part-time course administrator in September 2020, working alongside Ciara to support the MEITT team of Course Tutors, Programme Manager and Director.

Ashley Brett is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education at the University of Greenwich. He has worked within the Primary and Early Years Foundation Stage education sector for 25 years, as a primary school teacher, an education consultant for a local authority and as a deputy head teacher.
