Steve is an experienced senior leader and has worked in several Essex schools over the past 23 years.

He has a keen interest in teacher training and supporting new teachers within the profession.

Steve has been a successful Head of History, Head of Humanities, Assistant Headteacher and, most recently, was Associate Deputy Head at Alec Hunter Academy, where he led on both Teaching and Learning and Curriculum.  He is also currently working as a Senior Leader focusing on school improvement as part of his wider role at Bridge Academy Trust.

Steve has completed a Masters in Educational Leadership and Management through the Open University and leads on the PGCE working closely with ARU. Steve also successfully led the L7 PGCE programme at another local ITT provider and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of teacher training.
