Teacher Training
Mid Essex Initial Teacher Training (Mid Essex ITT) is an exceptional, school-based programme for aspiring teachers.
With our school-centred approach, you will complete the majority of your training in a local, Essex school setting. Our programme prepares you to teach at secondary school level and, upon successful completion, you will be awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) along with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), accredited by Anglia Ruskin University. We offer both full-time and flexible training options to suit your needs.

Mid Essex was last inspected by HM Ofsted Inspectorate in February 2024 and was graded as Outstanding.
