Can you tell us a bit more about what you are doing now? I am currently a Head of English Faculty and Associate member of SLT with a responsibility of disciplinary literacy across the school.

Thinking back to your teacher training with Mid Essex ITT, can you share with us about a highlight, fond memory or funny story? Folder hand in days were always funny to see. Everyone carrying 4 / 5 laundry bags full of folders, and us joking that MEITT didn't read them but checked theweight to see if we were working hard enough!

What was teacher training like when you trained? What were the buzzwords, latest theories or popular pedagogy? Meeting the needs of learners through it being either: Visual, Kinestheteic, Auditory.

Thinking back to your teacher training, is there anyone who supported you whom you would like to recognise or thank? IKeely Conroy - She was our Lead Subject Mentor, and was phenomenal; continually pushing us to ensure that we were the best practitioner we could be.
Liam O'Leary - He was my mentor at MHS and was brilliant; he was always (and still is) on hand for sound advice.
