As our cohort of trainee teachers settle into their journey towards QTS and the PGCE, you might be wondering if this could be the career for you.

We recognise that making the decision to move into teaching can sometimes be a daunting one.

To help you make the best and most informed choice possible, we want you to know that we are here to help - every step of the way. We hold recruitment events throughout the year and have a strong presence at local careers fairs. We also offer one-to-one online chats and we actively encourage people to come and meet us, to talk about eligibility, finances, SKEs and much much more.

Here are some of the ways you could able meet us this term:

Essex careers fairs:

We have already attended lots of careers fairs this term and met lots of lovely prospective trainee teachers. Watch this space for new events!

Mid Essex ITT recruitment events:

• Thursday 13th November 2025 - in-person event at Notley High School - 4.30pm to 6pm

Some interview dates have been set. These are all in person and held at our offices at Notley High School in Braintree from 9am to 2pm approx.:

• Friday 14th November
• Friday 12th December
• Wednesday 17th December (final interview day of the term)
• Friday 9th January (first interview day of the Spring term)
